Basic First Aid & CPR Training

9:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
This 4-hour classroom course led by NW Responder teaches the critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. The course follows the American Heart Association standardized curriculum. Upon successful completion each student receives a Northwest Responder two-year CPR & Basic First Aid certification card.
Optional: purchase a First Aid & CPR Manual upon registration (classroom manuals available day-of, but not provided otherwise)
Hike Program Volunteers:
- First Aid & CPR certification is required for Friends' hike leaders and shepherds, and Friends subsidizes the course fee with the expectation you will lead or shepherd at least three outings within the two years your certification is current. More information on how to become a hike leader or shepherd, here.)

Registration is a two-step process:
