The design of this paved trail mimics the graceful design of the highway as it was constructed 100 years ago, with stone walls, a new bridge over Warren Creek, overlooks, and picnic areas. It’s a perfect spot for a picnic by a waterfall and a short hike chock-full of history. Cabin Creek Falls, Hole-in-the-Wall Falls, and Lindsey Creek Falls can all be easily accessed on this new trail, as well as more strenuous hikes to Warren Lake, Mount Defiance (the highest point in the Scenic Area), and the moderately difficult Starvation Creek Ridge loop hike.
