Gorge Towns to Trails Designated as an "Oregon Signature Trail"

Through the 2022 Oregon Signature Trails Inventory process, Gorge Towns to Trails, Friends’ ambitious initiative to create a 200-mile loop trail encircling the Gorge, was identified as one of 15 trails with the existing infrastructure, support, and momentum to provide access to iconic landscapes and world-class trail experiences, with further investment. 

Like the other trails identified in this process, Gorge Towns to Trails provides a multitude of recreation options for people of diverse backgrounds, ages, abilities, and experience levels to walk, run, hike, and bike.
