While we know that the pandemic has limited our ability to come together and enjoy the incredible offerings of the Gorge, the survey was an inspiring reminder about how much our members care about protecting the Gorge. Thank you to everyone who submitted their valuable input!
Despite weathering more than a year of online events, there were still numerous requests for virtual hikes, digital learning opportunities, like webinars and instructional videos, and photographs. This has been a new experience for us all, and it is great to see that you all have enjoyed taking on this new challenge with us.

Our members are missing the occasions to make connections and we can’t wait until we can safely gather again. We were proud to see that so many members noted in the survey that they choose to support Friends because they align with our mission and utilize our hike resources.
With so many different ways to protect and enjoy the Gorge, we’re so glad to have members of our community who are committed to being responsible visitors to the special resources of the Gorge. Thank you for being part of it all. We look forward to seeing you again in person soon!
