Marvel at the wildflower showstopper of yellow balsamroot, purple lupine, red paintbrush and more while enjoying breathtaking views of the Gorge with leader Sharon Ross. We will ascend using the “harder” main trail and descend using the gentler Augspurger trail.
This is a challenging, very steep hike. We strongly recommend hiking poles.
We recommend carpooling if at all possible. Parking spots are limited at the trailhead, and we anticipate it to be very busy. If you arrive and can’t find a legal parking spot, you won’t be able to hike. Registration is a two-step process:
