Dog Mountain Wildflowers, WA

Friday, May 17, 2019

7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

Marvel at the wildflower showstopper of yellow balsamroot, purple lupine, red paintbrush and more while enjoying breathtaking views of the Gorge with leader Sharon Ross. We will ascend using the “harder” main trail and descend using the gentler Augspurger trail.

This is a challenging, very steep hike. We strongly recommend hiking poles.

We recommend carpooling if at all possible. Parking spots are limited at the trailhead, and we anticipate it to be very busy. If you arrive and can’t find a legal parking spot, you won’t be able to hike.

Registration is a two-step process:
  1. Click "+Add" to complete a separate ticket for each person in your party.
  2. On 2nd page, click the bubble next to the main contact’s name (to autofill the information). This person will receive the confirmation email.
Note: We no longer have wait lists. Keep an eye on sold-out events for space to open up as cancellations happen. Registration remains open until 2 p.m. the day (or Friday) before the outing.
