Coyote Wall Trail Reroute and Native Seeding
Saturday, October 27, 2018
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Join Friends of the Columbia Gorge and Washington Trails Association at Coyote Wall to reroute a section of the trail. Volunteers will help move the trail off a steep slope to a more sustainable location, plus restoring the very wide, rutted old trail and planting it with native grass seed.
No experience is necessary and tools will be provided. Our daily hike to the project site is expected to be 1-3 miles roundtrip over hilly terrain. Recommended for ages 10 and older; under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!
Additional information regarding the project can be found on the registration link below.
*Warning: We will be working in and around poison oak.*
