Join Friends, Trailkeepers of Oregon and REI for a three-part presentation series: Gorge Talks: Towns, Trails and Trees. On the first Wednesday of each month in April, May and June, join us for a uniquely-themed presentation to highlight the ways the Columbia Gorge is recovering from the Eagle Creek fire.

June 6: Trees

This talk is a discussion on forest fires. Learn about wildfire ecology and how forests naturally recover from a burn. You'll also hear about long-term sustainability efforts as it relates to recreation and a renewed focus on stewardship of this beloved landscape.
