Columbia River Gorge Commission Monthly Meeting in Camas, WA

Tuesday, May 8, 2018

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The Columbia River Gorge Commission is in the second year of its Gorge management plan review. Currently there is no mention of climate change at all in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area management plan, and it is important that the next plan prioritizes the many current and future impacts the Gorge is likely to face from climate change. Many other issues also need to be addressed, such as efforts to expand urban area boundaries and ongoing protection of scenic, natural, and cultural resources in the Columbia River Gorge. Help us ensure the best protections for the Gorge are maintained and strengthened now and into the future.
