Deschutes River Ecology, OR
Saturday, April 14, 2018
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Take a leisurely walk with naturalist Ralph Thomas Rogers on the Deschutes River Trail, where we'll learn about riparian ecology with an emphasis on birds, plants and butterflies. The return hike will be on the middle trail offering great views of the river from a slightly higher elevation. Bring your favorite field guide or plant ID book as this will be a great opportunity to spend time talking about and identifying many species.
This will be a slower-paced walk with frequent stops for discussion.
