Size: 70 acres
Location: Skamania County, WA
Acquired: 2010
Situated directly across the river from Crown Point, one of the Gorge’s most iconic landmarks, Vista View was acquired to prevent development of two multi-million-dollar homesites, preserving the area’s natural beauty. By maintaining the hay pastures for local agricultural use, the Vista View properties also play a crucial role in preserving the rural character of the region.
Although the wildlife habitat on these properties may not be particularly distinctive, like much of the rural and undeveloped agricultural land in the area, it provides essential support to local wildlife populations.
