Carson Cove is a small piece of waterfront on the Columbia River that surrounds land currently owned by Trust for Public Land. Conservation of this area protects the Columbia River’s edge from trophy homes while restoring native vegetation to help enhance wildlife and fish habitat.
Stewardship goals are to remove and manage blackberries, vinca, and ivy on this rugged and beautiful piece of land.

While not every proposal advanced, the sessions brought significant progress toward stronger conservation, climate, and community policies protecting the Gorge.
