Fall Stewardship at Sams Walker Day Use Area
Join us in wrapping up an incredibly productive season of invasive plant removal at Sams Walker! We’ll finish the stewardship season here spreading native grass seed, planting acorns and tackling a few more areas of invasive plants all while enjoying the seasonal treasure of autumn (think woolly bears and golden cottonwoods)! As we hike to the project site we’ll tour the oak and pollinator meadow restoration efforts from the past five years and talk about successes and challenges. If you haven’t stewarded at Sams Walker, this is a must do!
