With the opening of the new Oak View Overlook on the lower half of the Cape Horn Trail, the legacy of a former goat trail once threatened with development is now firmly in place. Dan Trujillo of the Camas-Washougal Post-Record reports on the coalition of groups that transformed the Cape Horn Trail, and how the trail fits in with Friends' Gorge Towns to Trails vision of a loop trail connecting Gorge communities.
