Before you register, please:
Bring your canine best friend, or just yourself, and join hike leader Don McCoy and his canine friend as they lead you on the Hardy Ridge trail. This trail of formerly old logging roads, wind through the backcountry of Beacon Rock State Park, where at the top of the ridge you will take in wonderful views of the Columbia Gorge. Don will lead the group going clockwise, going up the West Hardy trail and coming back down the East Hardy Trail. Well-trained, leashed dogs are welcome, but you don’t need a dog to attend. *Strenuous hikes will challenge most hikers. The hike will generally be longer and steeper, but may be deemed "Strenuous" because of the elevation gain. Generally 7 to 10 miles.
