This annual winter outing is a prime opportunity to watch bald eagles in the eastern Gorge as they nest and feed on salmon. We've invited eagle expert Bill Weiler to tell us all about these special birds and why this area of the Gorge is such an important and popular spot for them.

We will be offering two versions of the outing. If you're more interested in wine tasting than hiking, please sign up for the February 2nd outing!

This bald eagle viewing with be followed by a hike led by Debbie Asakawa to Dancing Rock and Horsethief Butte. The hike is fairly easy, totaling about 2-3 miles, but the terrain is uneven. And if the group wants more of a challenge, there is always more to explore! Please bring lunch and dress accordingly with layers and rain gear.

Please sign up here, using Eventbrite.
