Sandy River Delta Evening Walk, OR

Saturday, October 12, 2019

4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Learn about the collaborative restoration efforts of many partner organizations to preserve this multi-use area from Courtney Yilk of Confluence, Restoration Project Coordinator for the Sandy River Basin Watershed Council Bill Weiler, and Friends of Sandy River Delta President Jeff Schuh, on this late afternoon hike. We'll visit renowned architect Maya Lin’s Bird Blind and see the results of the largest deciduous forest habitat restoration project in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a multi-use area, so please know there will be lots of off-leash dogs running around. Leader Jeff Schuh will be bringing his dog along for this outing. If you do not like dogs - this is not the place for you.
