Vista View Invasive Species Training Hike

Wednesday, April 17, 2019

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Join Friends Land Trust Coordinator Sara Woods and Gorge-area Weed Managers for an informational hike to learn about invasive plants that threaten Gorge habitats.

Volunteers will learn how to identify common Gorge weeds and report them via smartphone apps. We will also spend time pulling invasive plants as we go.

This outing will be the Vista View land trust preserve. Volunteers will hike between 0.5 - 2 miles throughout the day on moderately flat ground.

We're also offering a similar training on Thursday June 13th 2019.
