Sandy River Delta Evening Walk, OR

Saturday, March 30, 2019

4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Learn about the collaborative restoration efforts of many partner organizations to preserve this multi-use area from Confluence's Executive Director Colin Fogarty, Restoration Project Coordinator for the Sandy River Basin Watershed Council Bill Weiler, and Friends of Sandy River Delta President Jeff Schuh, on this late afternoon hike. We'll visit renowned architect Maya Lin’s Bird Blind and see the results of the largest deciduous forest habitat restoration project in the Pacific Northwest.

This is a multi-use area so please know there will be lots of off-leash dogs running around. Leader Jeff Schuh of Friends of the Sandy River Delta will be bringing his dog along for this outing. If you do not like dogs - this is not the place for you.

Registration is a two-step process:
  1. Click "+Add" to complete a separate ticket for each person in your party.
  2. On 2nd page, click the bubble next to the main contact’s name (to autofill the information). This person will receive the confirmation email.
Note: We no longer have wait lists. Keep an eye on sold-out events for space to open up as cancellations happen. Registration remains open until 2 p.m. the day (or Friday) before the outing.
