This is the fourth annual boot brush kick-off in the Gorge. Volunteers spend a day promoting the boot brush at popular Gorge trailheads. Together, we will demonstrate to hikers how to properly use a boot brush and why they’re so important to reduce the spread of noxious weeds. Using a boot brush to scrub off invasive plant seeds is a simple and easy way to be an everyday steward. Join us to help spread the word of giving weeds the boot!
Volunteers are needed from on Saturday March 23 and/or Sunday March 24th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. No experience is needed and training will be provided.
Please register for the trailhead and day(s) you prefer to volunteer on the Columbia Gorge Cooperative Weed Management Area registration page.
