Board members Geoff Carr and John Harrison will guide us on the Gibbons Creek Trail at Steigerwald National Wildlife Refuge to celebrate the success of our Preserve the Wonder land campaign. We’ll get special access onto the 160-acre Steigerwald Shores preserve adjacent to the refuge and get an update on the $22 million restoration project, ensuring better habitat for salmon, birds and other wildlife, while taking in scenic river views.
We'll also be joined by a refuge volunteer from U.S. Fish & Wildlife to provide additional information on the many birds and other animal species that call this refuge home.
