Oil Train Safety Legislation Hearing: HB 2209

The first oil train safety bill to receive a hearing at this year’s Legislative Session is HB 2209, a very weak bill that is sponsored by the railroad industry. We need this bill to be opposed unless it is strengthened through amendments to reflect our key priorities for ensuring that Oregon’s laws are meaningfully improved on oil train safety.
