Trailhead Ambassador Training - Cascade Locks

Saturday, June 16, 2018

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

To become a Trailhead Ambassador, we ask that you attend a four-hour training. These trainings will equip you with the resources to feel confident when talking to visitors as they start their recreation in Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. In the training, we will go over volunteer logistics, Leave No Trace principles and Ready, Set Gorge tips for you to help folks have a safer and more enjoyable experience on these trails. We will also discuss Eagle Creek fire FAQ's and other important hiker info. We're looking for volunteers who are out-going and have previous knowledge of the Gorge and Mt. Hood hiking trails and general hiker/recreation etiquette.

This training will include coffee, drinks, and snacks. If you have any questions, please contact Trailhead Ambassador Coordinator Ali Smith (ali@gorgefriends.org).
