Have dinner (view the menu – it is recommended to arrive earlier for food orders), celebrate our recent victories against coal and oil terminals, meet Friends staff and board members, and enjoy a presentation:
  • Columbia River Gorge Conservation and Resilience: Celebrate our recent victories against coal and oil terminals, and get an update on the ongoing review of the National Scenic Area Management Plan and how you can help support vital protections of the Scenic Area for years to come. We will also touch briefly on our Gorge resilience efforts after the Eagle Creek fire.
  • Friends Outdoor Education: Learn about the Explore the Gorge outdoor youth education program, a partnership with the Washougal School District designed to get middle school students outside and inspire a new generation of Gorge stewards.
  • Preserve the Wonder: Learn about our exciting campaign to acquire and preserve properties totaling more than 400 acres on the Washington side of the Gorge (including two in Clark County!).
New member special: Donate $20 or more at the event and you'll take home a Friends of the Columbia Gorge pint glass!
