Trail Description Driving Directions

alert Trail Alert, Jul 12, 2018: Starvation Ridge Cut-off trail (#414B) is closed due to a washout on the trail. View map.

This hike begins by following I-84 for about a mile before climbing a series of switchbacks. It then levels off for a mile or so, giving you a chance to catch your breath before the trail begins to get steep again. About a mile from the top, there is a spur that you can take for a loop that comes from the west of the summit and approaches the top from the south side. Return down the north side and meet up with the trail you hiked up.
