The entry period for Friends' seventh annual photo contest has closed. More than 500 photos were entered in this year's contest. Thanks to all who participated.

What's next: Preliminary judging will be carried out by Friends staff this winter to select finalists (in previous contests approximately 60 to 75 finalists have been selected). This spring a volunteer panel of outside photographers and/or conservation professionals will gather to select winners and honorable mentions from the finalist photos. Announcement of winners and honorable mentions is expected in early June 2022.
