Governor Kulongoski's decision to support a casino in the Columbia Gorge is disappointing, but not defeating. This is not a done deal and the Gorge casino can still be stopped. Whether or not Oregon's first off-reservation casino will be placed in the heart of the Columbia Gorge will be determined by Secretary of Interior Dirk Kempthorne.
