Previously Held Properties

Friends' goal for most properties it owns is to convey them to a state or federal agency to ensure permanent protection, and where appropriate, public access for recreation. Friends' staff and volunteers work hard to keep Friends' Land Trust properties clean, healthy, and free of invasive species for eventual agency acquisition. In some cases, Friends works with agencies to create new trails and recreation area on Land Trust properties.
